Premalu changed the size of his career. He played Sachin Santhosh. Sachin faces travel plans, romance and awkward social moments. The film connected strongly with audiences. It also gave the actor a much wider audience beyond Kerala.
The years after Premalu brought bigger films. They also brought different roles. He played a boxer in Alappuzha Gymkhana. He appeared opposite Kalyani Priyadarshan in Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra. These roles placed him in sports drama and large-scale fantasy cinema.
Naslen K. Gafoor has also worked beyond live-action comedy. In Valatty, he voiced Tippu, a Stafford. This role added another skill to his work. It showed that his appeal could come through voice, timing and character mannerisms.
Naslen K. Gafoor Early Life and Education
Naslen studied at St. Joseph’s School in Mathilakam, Kerala. He completed his higher secondary education there. He then joined a technology course. His early path looked more academic than cinematic. That changed when film work began to attract him.
He joined a B.Tech course but left after two years. He made this choice before his credited acting career had fully begun. He did not complete the course. Instead, he moved closer to film sets. He began taking small opportunities in Malayalam productions.
His first set experience came through Madhura Raja in 2019. He worked there as a junior artist. He wanted to see Mammootty in person. This wish helped bring him to the project. His appearance was small. Still, it gave him a close look at a major Malayalam production.
Later in 2019, he got a credited role in Thanneer Mathan Dinangal. He moved from junior artist to named character very quickly. This role gave his career a clear start. Audiences could then follow his later credits.

The film’s success also changed the scale of his later opportunities, moving him from youth-oriented ensemble films into projects with larger commercial expectations.

His project choices have also linked him with different generations of Malayalam talent. Jithu Madhavan is associated with Suriya 47. Naslen K. Gafoor Physical Details and Screen Presence
Naslen’s listed height is 168 cm, or 5 feet 6 inches. His listed weight is 55 kg, or 121 pounds. These figures sit alongside a screen style based on movement, timing and expression. His style is not built around a typical action-hero image.
This quality helped him in roles such as Sachin Santhosh and Charles Oliver Twist. Both characters depend on quick reactions. Social discomfort also plays a major part. His performances often work through a pause, a look or a badly timed response.
The boxer role in Alappuzha Gymkhana placed these strengths in a new setting. A sports character needs physical action. It also needs small emotional moments around training and pressure. This part added a new shape to his Malayalam-film profile.

His work in Home brought another kind of recognition in 2022. The Samayam Movie Awards listed him as the Best Supporting Actor for the film. This connected him with a family drama, rather than only a comic youth role. It also showed that his performances could carry emotion as well as humour.
| Award or recognition | Year | Connection |

| SIIMA Award for Best Comedian – Malayalam | Career recognition | Honoured his comic performance work in Malayalam cinema |
Naslen’s Acting Strengths
Naslen’s early roles established a performance style built around conversational Malayalam and immediate reactions. That pattern helped him connect comic timing with recognisable emotional behaviour.
